Winnipeg & Manitoba’s Vermicomposting Specialists!

Vermicomposting is the process of composting using worms. In fact, in Latin, the word “vermi” means “worms”. You can use worms to convert household kitchen wastes into excellent plant fertilizer, using a special worm called a red wriggler (eisenia foetida).
The red wriggler will live happily in a closed container in your home, consuming kitchen wastes, and turning them into a rich fertilizer that you can use on your house plants and in your gardens.

This is a clean, environmentally friendly way to stop tons of waste from going to our over-burdened landfill sites (think of the garbage mountain forming at Brady landfill). Worms are a fun and easy way to help make the earth a healthier place.  We’re located in the south end of Winnipeg.
